Great location- as described - Loved the area and especially the beach Positive: Very close to Steps beach which is a marine preserve. Great for snorkeling.Everything you need is on hand, paper towels, kitchen sponge and towels, beach towels and chairs etc. There are lounge chairs and table and chairs and a hammock on the terrace. Negative: This wasn’t a problem for us, but if traveling with a family or friends the bathroom is only accessible by going through the master bedroom! This units patio faces the road. There are others that face the yard area.

CUIDADO! Be careful Negative: Be very careful with this property. Three days after check-out, they charged $140 to my credit card for an alleged bed damage that we did not cause. The only evidence provided was a video showing a worn and partially broken bed slat, which is fully consistent with normal wear and tear on an old bed. No proof was provided that the damage occurred during our stay. I strongly recommend that future guests take detailed videos and photos both at check-in and check-out, as this property may attempt to charge your card for unproven damages. Very disappointing experience. Tened mucho cuidado con este alojamiento. Tres días después del check-out me cargaron 140 dólares en mi tarjeta por una supuesta rotura de la cama que no causamos. La única prueba aportada fue un vídeo en el que se veía una lama del somier desgastada y parcialmente rota, algo perfectamente compatible con el desgaste normal de una cama antigua. Una cama que mínimo tiene 50 años. No aportaron ninguna prueba de que el daño se produjera durante nuestra estancia. Recomiendo encarecidamente a los futuros huéspedes que graben vídeos y hagan fotos detalladas tanto al entrar como al salir del alojamiento, ya que podrían intentar realizar cargos en la tarjeta por daños no demostrados. Una experiencia muy decepcionante.

Property is located as described; the owner lives above and is very kind. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood and easy access to beaches. Sleeps 4, but the 1 bathroom is located in the main bedroom. The living room furniture was older and uncomfortable, and we lacked places to put a drink or phone. The kitchen has most appliances, but mismatched or broken pans and random utensils; there is a dining counter with 2 chairs only. No hot water anywhere except shower (none in kitchen/bath sink). Problems with internet prevailed all month, interfering with remote work, so we needed a hotel stay at one point. We had some issues with ants around the house. Note that this apartment shares a wall with a 2nd, so not 100% private. There is a lot of potential but needs some updating and care. If you are just looking for a quick stay to surf, and don't need much past a place to sleep, it's well located. But we found it less suitable for longer stays, remote work, or more than 2 people.

Had a good time. Is perfect for a place to join family reunions. Close to all around the Tres Palmas Marine reserve.

You have 2/3rds of first floor of a house. No one else was staying in the other bottom unit or the upstairs when we were there, but just know you may have orher guests at the property with you. Location is great for snorkeling at Steps Beach. Couple minute walk and you can snorkel in the marine reserve. Also super close to Black Eagle Marina. AC worked well in both bedrooms. Little warm in den/kitchen with no AC but a ceiling fan. Overall location is awesome abd its quiet even though suoer close to main area of Rincon. Also, power in the whole area went out a few times. Seems like a common occurance in the area. Not specific to this house. Just have a flashlight handy just in case.

This place is perfect for families. It’s close to everything, restaurants, the town center and the beach. The house has a large yard, and the beach is just a two-minute walk from the apartment. The beach features a small natural pool that’s perfect for kids! There’s also a large nature reserve that’s great for snorkeling. The area feels safe and is very peaceful and quiet. Jennifer responded immediately and always maintained excellent communication with us. Yes, I recommend this place.

No dejes de visitar la playa que está frente a la propiedad, tendrás las mejores fotos de un bello atardecer. 💯🇵🇷🌅 Negative: Serìa bueno que hubiese portòn de seguridad en la misma y que los estacionamientos esten rotulados para no incomodar si hubiese algún otro inquilino. Todo estuvo muy acogedor y cómodo. cerca de todo y más aún a pasos de STEPS una reserva natural de vida marina . es excelente. recomendable 100% en lo personal para Parejas con 1 o 2 hijos . camas muyyyy cómodas. la verdad fui a descansar y fue lo que puede sentir desde que llegué, PAZ.. y tranquilidad no duden en quedarse aqui... 20 de 10

Buen lugar para relajarse! Positive: Céntrico, fresco, cómodo y limpio! Negative: Que tenga un solo baño y que se encontrara en un cuarto y no en un lugar neutro de la casa! Y ya no hay acceso a la playa desde el patio!

Jennifer was super accommodating of our early check in, we had a hiccup with a completely different Airbnb that tossed all out plans in the air. We were able to get right back on track and not get sidelined on my bday. Place is super walkable and 5 min away from downtown Rincón, very nice area, private, and quiet.

The Reef is the perfect location for a mix of easy access to beaches and black hawk marina. House is simple but adequate. We enjoy the trail walk to the beach and the short drive to downtown Rincón.

This property is great for families and the owner was very accommodating with all supplies on the property. Close to everything in Rincón! Definitely would recommend to others!

Overall the place was fine for our needs. It was in a safe area (we left our kayak, surfboards etc out). It was quiet. We had a couple issues which became more complicated than they should have been: 1) the shower had only extremely hot water. It scalded my 10-year-old son.I asked if I should just unplug the water heater device (which seemed unsafe), but no response. 2) The stove didn't work. Both of these things were easy fixes, but they didn't want to send someone to fix them. For 36 hours they were telling us to turn the faucet to the right and that the gas had been filled. It turned out, the water heater could just be unplugged and the gas outside had been filled, but it hadn't been turned on. I asked about these things so I could do them myself but they didn't respond. When they finally sent somebody, he had everything fixed in 5min and everything was fine. It was frustrating that I could have fixed all those things on day one and spared the guy the trouble of coming out :-)

Good Positive: Awesome location, size of the property, cleanness, outside shower. Negative: Need an extra bathroom. Only one bathroom inside the master room. Guest on the secondary room had to use the bathroom on my room. Not the best set up for 4 adults. The access to the beach through the backyard is no longer available. The advertising of the place tells otherwise.

Great location! Beach near by is beautiful and one can snorkel over reef right off the beach. Jennifer’s place if walking distance to restaurants, coffee, and a Marina. It is a great place for a relaxing beach holiday.

We had a fantastic time staying in this unit. The walk to Tres Palmas is 5 minutes away if you are looking for some of the best snorkeling on the island. Everything inside the unit was clean and just what we needed for our couple day stay. We would absolutely stay here again in the future.

This property is in a great location, close to the beach and walkable to restaurants! We loved sitting on the patio after a day of surfing and exploring, listening to the Coqui frogs. We saw tons of beautiful wildlife, including sea turtles, hummingbirds, iguanas… truly a beautiful place. Steps Beach is a nice, close walk, and the snorkeling on a calm day is great. The house is comfortable and the air conditioning in the bedrooms keeps you cool on the hottest nights. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent location The only issue was the access to the beach from the house was misunderstood and there was no outside water access to clean sand off your feet or beachwear, etc. The hot water in the shower was not comparable to the price. That is not a reflection of how nice the houses is or her hospitality. Just suggestions for improvement.

Jennifer's place was a clean and comfortable place for us to stay for several days while enjoying Puerto Rico's west coast. Things we liked: 1) great location close to Steps Beach where we could walk, snorkel and watch the surfers; 2) quiet neighborhood next to Tres Palmas Reserve; 3) we could hear the ocean waves from the unit when they were large enough; 4) short drive to the lighthouse, Domes Beach, Camino El Faro, Maria's Beach, and restaurants/activities in Rincon; 5) having an outside shower to rinse the sand off before coming inside. The primary downside was that access to the bathroom was only through the main bedroom.

This place was nice, clean & everything worked well. AC was more than adequate & quiet. But my biggest issue is the bathroom, while nicely done, it is inside the master bedroom, making it inaccessible to the people in the 2nd room. While people are sleeping in the master bedroom it makes it difficult to use the bathroom for the two people in the 2nd room in the mornings. That bathroom setup should be CLEARLY defined in the description. It could be turned into a Jack-n-Jill bathroom fairly easily solving the problem.

If you’re looking in area, yes this is a Good spot. The wedding venue behind is where we had to attend a wedding. That was great. The venue sold so won’t help anyone further more. Has a great visitors book. Bring baby wipes for the toilet trash if you’re not familiar with Rincon. AC is good, Beds comfortable. Though Shower doesn’t get very warm and sprayed from a leak. No hot water in bathroom sink. No bugs. Overall Not uncomfortable for stay, Said there was a pool- personally found no clear instructions nor pictures, didn’t have time to investigate. If you’re thinking do it or not. Do It.

The place was nice. Near beaches, El Faro, restaurant, everything you need in a 5-10minute ride. Jennifer was very responsive. The beach at the back it’s not the best but it is excellent to have a nice after noon view. The only down side, is that the shower at night were more than 5 roaches. We did have insect killer provided by the house, but it is not that nice. Beds, kitchen and the house in general was clean.

The location of this place is perfection if you plan to stay on the beach and snorkel every morning - and that is exactly what we did. We rolled out of bed and walked down to Steps Beach where we immersed ourselves in the beauty of Tres Palmas. The casa had everything we needed and while we had a small issue, Jennifer was prompt to remedy the situation and we appreciated that. The beach chairs and towels were great to have on hand.

Amazing location right on the beach in rincon! Views from the beach were incredible. Just a short 2 min walk across the lawn down to the beach. We also loved how easy of a drive it was to get downtown and other local beaches. Also right next door to tres palmas resort. Great AC that powered the two bedrooms. On the downside it’s pretty small and rustic. The only bathroom is through a bedroom so can be tough for couples. Overall a great stay by the beach!

Great location by Steps Beach and close to everything

Great place to stay! A little bit of roach problem but nothing to worry about. Comfortable beds and good air Conditioner. I would love that the bathroom wasn’t in the master bedroom because it was a little uncomfortable for the other guests, they had to go through the master bedroom to get to the only bathroom in the unit.

Beautiful beach and stuff to do within walking distance. House is well equipped. Enjoyed sitting on the porch in the mornings

The house was pretty decorated and good location. The backyard view is terrific. My two daughters were amazed by the ocean view. Jennifer is a lovely host. We will come back.

This place was a good spot to lay our heads for a couple nights. I wouldn’t plan on cooking here due to the fact that the pots and pans are very old and not usable. The owner was very nice and helpful when it came to some concerns we had. There were cockroaches which is probably common for the area. The air conditioners were great. Really cooled down the room!

Beautiful place just a few steps from Tres Palmas beach. Close to great restaurants but quite at bedtime.

We had a pleasant stay (February 2023) in the 2 BR unit of this casita just off 413 in the surfing town of Rincon. It has perfect location on Ensenada (the cove) of Tres Palmas Reserve. The kitchen is adequate for preparing meals. The cookware could use replacing with non-stick pots and frying pans for use on the gas stove. The front room feels “frumpy”. One sofa instead of 2 worn out ones, plus a coffee table would help the small combination kitchen/living room space. If the décor was updated it would bring the unit in line with other rentals in this price range. There is an additional outdoor shower for sandy feet. we liked the unit enough to stay 3 weeks - and may re-book again sometime!

Beautiful location right next to the beach! Host was great and apartment fit our needs. Only issue we had was realizing there is an active security camera facing the patio and no mention in the description... and since we really appreciate our privacy that's not cool. Hopefully description gets updated.

We were first blown away at the beautiful view from the place. It was so stunning to drive up and watch the sunset from the backyard 😍 Off to the left on that stretch of beach is our favorite for kids and snorkeling and so the proximity was So great. The place was clean and had everything we needed. All appliances worked, ACs worked great, it was quiet and we could even hear the waves at night. Really loved our stay. Thank you!
