Pelican Reef 703 Beachfront Penthouse with Ocean and Sunset Views

August 2026 - I traveled with 4 children and 3 adults, everyone was comfortable. The extra beds a big plus. The views were amazing you have to see it to believe it. I didn’t want to leave! Every time I come back to Rincon I will try and book this place first if it’s available. Jennifer’s place gave my family and I a stay to remember. The children asked why do we have to leave? We will definitely return. Thanks again for allowing us to utilize your unit it was fantastic.

Positive: Excellent location well keep overall like it a lot Negative: Need new mattress and also some love on the terrace when it rain leaks everywhere and the bbq is leaking when valve is open very dangerous also dryer sound awful need to check that

Our stay at the Pelican Reef was amazing. This was my mom’s first time traveling to PR and she loved it there. The condo was as described. Beautiful views, very comfortable specially is you are traveling with kids and also the apartment had everything you needed for a perfect beach vacations. Rincon is one of my favorite places in PR and we definitely will stay there again. Jennifer was very helpful when I had questions so that was really nice of her. 😊

Negative: Right Outside the property garbage was left on the floor by sanitation and never picked up . Roosters up all night.

Our vacation home was awesome! The house was very clean, spacious, and had a great outdoor kitchen that we really enjoyed. The kids loved having both the beach and the pool right next door. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We will definitely book again the next time we come back!

Waooo este apartamento es hermoso , las fotos no le hacen justicia . Desde que llegas es de fácil acceso , las instrucciones claras . Una vez en el todo estuvo impecable , con coma muy surtida , con todo lo necesario en los baños , habitaciones amplias , tenía de todo en relación a equipo de playa : neveras de playa ,sillas de playas , juegos …. El segundo piso donde está la habitación es hermosa desde la cama vez el mar … con otra cocina equipada y hasta nevera. Y ni hablar de la terraza con todo lo necesario , definitivamente lo que faltó fueron días adicionales para crear más memorias en familia. Sin duda volvería , recomendado no se van arrepentir es hermoso este lugar , gracias en familia creamos lindos recuerdos ❤️

Jennifer’s place was great! It has a beautiful view that you can’t get enough of. The place was very clean and Jennifer was attentive throughout our stay. We would definitely stay again!!

The apartment and the surroundings were beautiful.

The property is amazing and the view is even better. Jennifer is very quick to respond and even got us a new propane tank to cook in only 5 minutes. I highly recommend this location.

Had an amazing time in a beautiful condo in a great location and right on the beach. What more can you ask for. Positive: Location was great. It had a nice beach. We didn’t use the pools but they looked nice and well maintained. The condo was spacious and the balconies were impressive. The unit was well cleaned and fully stocked with beach chairs, coolers, towels. AC worked well. Negative: I didn’t like the circular staircase. It did have rubberized corners but I could easily see someone smacking their head on it if not paying close attention.

Excellent view and a great place to stay! They had all the amenities we needed for our family trip. The beach was very nice and secluded. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful stay, at a compact resort. The double unit is outstanding. The views are tremendous. The sunsets were fabulous. We saw a whale one morning. Three designated parking spots is terrific. The grounds are nice, but very compact. It's nice to have direct access to a beach. The beach is small but never crowded. Beautiful sandy beach. The neighborhood is safe, but rundown with collapsed homes from hurricanes and neglect. Very close to some great restaurants. A car is required. Nothing within walking distance. The unit was clean, but could have been cleaner. Plenty of furniture, but older and stained from use. The beds were very comfortable and newer. Everything that you need is provided to enjoy the beach and pool. Our host answered our questions quickly and resolved the few issues that we had. We met other very nice couples who have stayed at this resort multiple times. We would stay again if the opportunity presented itself.

Stella is a really great area, it’s easy to move around the western side or Puerto Rico from this location. I come here with my family every year. It is very relaxing. It’s easy to enjoy the balcony of this particular condominium, it’s one of the largest in the pelican reef building. What an amazing sunset view , the constant breeze, and the sound of the ocean.

Love the place, right at the beach!

This place is a Gem. The space, decorations, supplies, location, super pristine, privacy, etc. It is one of the top Airbnb’s in Puerto Rico for sure. It has a nice private beach, private pools, breathtaking sunsets and amazing location. This is not a common or normal place in PR. If you looking for a place to relax with your partner and/or family look no further. Everything is nearby in case you want to go out and get food(supermarkets, restaurants, bakery, shops, gas, etc). It is a true Jewel! 100% RECOMMENDED!!!

First of all, let me say that our host, Jennifer, was awesome. She was very reliable, and took care of any problems immediately. The condo itself is beautiful and spacious, with 2 large balconies and amazing ocean views. There are also many extra amenities that we were not expecting like beach chairs, towels, coolers, etc So we were very happy with the condo itself. The only problem we had was to get the key you were given instructions that the key was in a drop box on a pole along the entrance. There were 2 poles with drop boxes and many were broken and unlabeled, so we had a little trouble finding ours. I did let Jennifer know and she said she would take care of it. The beach in front of the condo is very rocky, but there is a sidegate that leads to a small beach area that the water is swimmable. The water does start out calm in the am, but the current picks up in the afternoon. The only reason I gave 3 stars to the property nearby is because to the right of the hotel is a partially fallen down house and another collapsed building which is your view when you are out in the water. There also is not really a way to walk along the beach which we normally like to do. So if you are looking for a quiet more secluded beach, then this is for you. If your looking for one that is more active, with lots of nearby activities, then this probably is not the place. So all in all, we really enjoyed our stay, except the water is not the Caribbean blue that we were expecting

The condo is beautiful and well maintained. It Has many extras in it that other airbnbs don’t have, such as spices, pool and beach toys. They even had a supply of lanterns for when the power went out!

Beautiful property and condo (balcony wow) pool grounds exceptional and beautiful beach with palm trees. It exceeded our expectations. The condo had luxury towels and bed linens. The king size beds were very comfortable. AC worked excellent in the bedrooms. I wish we had 2 sets of keys for convenience but that’s my only suggestion. Very safe. Highly recommend. Got to snorkel 40 yards right off the beach. We had an amazing family vacation here at this special condo.

The penthouse at Pelican Brief was a nice week of pool, beach and the town of Rincon even made it more enjoyable with the great restaurants and the art walk on Thursday.

We have been to Puerto Rico 12 times and this is the best condo we have stayed in! We were there for two weeks with no issues. Great views, amazing balconies, great beds and high quality furniture. Tastefully decorated, fully-stocked. Security is great, easy to get in and out, great location, sunbathing choices on beach, at pool, or your private balcony. The two levels make it ideal for two couples also. We will not stay anywhere else.

We had 2 couples. Condo was wonderful, spacious, clean and amazing outdoor spaces. Pools and private beach to spend a day at. Close to many restaurants and beaches.

What a beautiful and spacious layout packed with amenities is offered by this Penthouse 2 story condo at the entrance of Rincon! Everything was even better than pictured. Stunning views to be had from the huge balconies on both floors. The gated oceanfront location with pool, beach, and reserved parking was really nice. The sunsets are magical and the sounds of the waves and Coqui put us in deep relax mode :) The unit itself was very clean & fully stocked with every possible thing you could need for your stay. Igloo coolers with ice packs, beach chairs, water toys, full kitchen on first floor and kitchenette on second with separate entrances is perfect for two couples or family. The kids felt like VIPs on the second level super suite to hangout while us parents enjoyed the peace and privacy of connected lower level via interior staircase. Our Host Jennifer was great regularly checking in on us and taking care of any questions we had to ensure our stay was a great one. Must Try!

We had a great time in Rincon and enjoyed the penthouse! Location was a quick drive to downtown with amazing ocean views and 2 patios to enjoy! It was hot out, but the A/C worked great, the furniture and beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay at Jennifer’s apartment. The location is outstanding. Oceanfront with huge balconies on both levels. The building also has a couple pools and a private beach which we very much enjoyed. The apartment was spacious, clean and stocked with everything we needed. The apartment is in a central location and a very short drive to downtown Rincón. It’s also located in the middle of some of the best beaches on the west coast located in Cabo Rojo, Isabella and Aguadilla. Would highly recommend!

This was our first visit to the island. We fell in love with the condo on vrbo and booked. When we got to the location we were so excited! My husband ran around saying omg omg lol. The view was amazing, the space in the condo was perfect. It was very well appointed for everything we needed. The city of Rincon was great! The grocery store was close, the restaurants were great! Breakfast at Ricomini Bakery was so good! The green smoothie place right up the street has great food my salad was so good! We enjoyed the view from our balcony everyday, the sunsets were beautiful. We definitely will be back to PR and would LOVE to stay at this property again! Thank you!

Good place to disconnect!

Spacious property great for our family’s first visit to the Rincón area. Property manager was responsive with any questions or issues. Nice pool area with access to a small, calm beach where you can snorkel. Amazing sunset and ocean views. Access to the unit’s entrance was a bit tricky to figure out but did so by trial and error. Overall good value for a cool location when traveling with family or group.

Fantastic place for two couples to stay! Both upstairs and downstairs have full amenities in which couples can maintain their privacy if they like although does have a grand balcony upstairs that is nice for sitting together, eating dinner, and looking at the views. Loved having the pool and the beach within one to two minute walk of our room! Location was also very close in proximity to the grocery store and downtown Rincon, but better yet to Steps Beach and also Domes Beach! Would highly recommend!

Great place, awesome view, lots of amenities, responsive hostess.

The condo was well equipped and maintained with stunning views. All the amenities were of high quality. We did encounter two minor incidents. The first we got stuck in the elevator for about 10 minutes when it would not move nor wound the doors open. Eventually and not really sure how we got the door to open. This only happened once. The second incident is that we had a power outage and the backup generator did not kick in. This also resulted in the main gate not opening. We waited about an hour until someone came to manually open the gate. Overall we were happy with our stay and would recommend to others.

We had a fantastic stay. Loved every minute. I was looking for a low key beach vacation.. this was it. My sister is up early so the to separate areas was great. She was able to have coffee and enjoy ocean on her balcony. Well I layed in bed dozing on the other floor enjoying my view. Closet does have some beach chairs and floats to use. Loved our stay.

Overall the penthouse was great. We felt it could use some upgrades in the kitchen. Very slow coffee pot! The upstairs bedroom was amazing. Loved the patio!!

This place is amazing & the views are even better. Went on a girls trip & we loved the space & amenities. Beds & pillows were super soft! So were towels. They had plenty of stuff to borrow for the beach or pool & was just a very enjoyable stay. I would like to come back with family next time!

We really enjoyed our stay! We couldn’t believe how large the place was and we loved enjoying breakfast on the balcony. The beach was so close and convenient and my kids loved using the boogie boards. The condo came with pretty much everything you need. We look forward to coming back!

The view, two story accommodation, tons of cookware and utensils, and guidebook was great! We loved the outdoor living area. The building itself including some of the interior cabinets and patio doors were tired and not maintained like they should have been. It was tricky unlocking the entrance door. That being said, I would stay there again knowing the view and overall space make up for parts of the building that score lower.

Amazing views!! Loved the place

Pelican Reef was a quiet and beautiful place to spend a few days in Rincon. The view is unmatched! Grilling and eating meals overlooking a 180-degree view of the ocean was spectacular. We loved going to sleep with the sounds of the waves and even saw shooting stars. The bedrooms were huge and the beds were very comfortable. You do need to get in the car to get to most places, but everything is just a short drive away. However, if you're into pickleball, there were community courts you can walk to just down the street! Our host responded to us right away and the check-in process was so easy. Parking was also safe and right next to the building.

We loved staying here. Great location, and the beach was really nice. Would definitely stay again!

Loved having the terrace and the extra space, could easily stay with another couple. Great little beach area and pool.

The place was beautiful as described. The views were great. We spent 14 nights. The other guests were very friendly. We had one issue where the elevator was not working, but was resolved quickly.

Overall, the condo was good. Very well supplied and awesome location. Here are the things that could make a better experience for future guests. * The grill was in major disrepair. Guests should not be asked to remove the cooking grates, remove the heat deflectors, and then try to light a match on the rusted out burners. That was the solution we were given. After we checked out, Owner did say that they were ordering a new one. * The overhead awnings were both broken. That area would be so much nicer if it were fixed. As it is, the whole area is unusable in the rain. If it can’t be fixed, it would be best to just remove them, as the clanking in the wind kept us awake 4 of the 7 nights. I was disappointed the owner never responded to my message about this. * The neighbors roosters started at about 4:00 a.m. Bring earplugs. * The upstairs garbage disposal did not work and was clogged. When using the dishwasher, it backed up into the sink.

I have been coming to Puerto Rico for the past 6 years & like to stay in all different areas. This Penthouse is by far the most beautiful, clean, convenient & quiet one I have stayed in. I truly enjoyed my stay here.

Look no further than this Airbnb! It was by far the best place we have stayed in. It was close enough to downtown but just far enough away that you felt like you are ‘out of the fray.’ Our host was responsive and the unit was stocked with every cooking utensil could image! This pace is enchanting and truly has it all!

WOW! Breathtaking ocean views. Unit just as pictured, very clean, quiet, good AC cooling. Appreciated that switches were well marked and TV was easy to use. Good location w/ eateries, groceries & activities a short drive. Beds are comfortable with extra pillows & linens, kitchen has good selection of utensils, plates & glasses but what made it for us was HUGE 2nd floor balcony w/ ample shade & cushioned chairs & chaise. We essentially lived up there, enjoying views & awesome sunsets. We usually had the (very clean!) pool to ourselves but more deck chairs for busier times might be needed and more shade (umbrellas or palapas) would be nice. The grounds are nicely kept and access to the private beach just out the back gate was perfect. Already looking at 2024 dates — will DEFINITELY be back!

This place is so spacious and beautiful! It's incredibly well stocked both in terms of towels and kitchen. Two great balconies with absolutely fantastic view!

Want to thank Jennifer so much for hosting this beautiful Airbnb. We booked October 22 -28 for my wife's birthday and at first was a little concerned about the weather being that it rains a lot in October but to our advantage it only rained twice so don't be discouraged about booking in October weather was amazing and we where able to witness 5 beautiful sunsets totally amazing and breathtaking. The view of the ocean is just as pictured on the web site. Bed rooms very large and comfortable plenty of pillows and linen water pressure amazing for taking hot showers to take off all the sand from the beach. Jennifer had 4 chairs cooler and beach towels for your trips to the beach. On that note you have plenty of choices of beautiful beaches to visit all with in 10 to 15 minutes away our favorite was playa lala. Two supermarkets 5 minutes away. Plenty of restaurants so close if ur there on Thursday you must go to town and enjoy the festivities. Closing the trip was amazing and very safe

This was our first stay at an airbnb in Puerto Rico and everything went better than expected. We were looking for an ocean-view stay and these views were amazing. Beautiful sunset from the balcony and wonderful moonlit views at night. The beach was accessible and we had everything we needed for the 2 night stay. I would definitely recommend this condo, and Jennifer was very responsive to all of our questions. We will definitely stay here again.

This place is breathtaking as soon as you walk in with the ocean views and amenities. Jennifer made sure my family and I needs were met and the private beach was icing on the cake and perfect location to all the shops nearby.

The stay was okay. The listing should be more descriptive - dead end street, check in process could be easier. Hard to get in the building, etc. Overall, it was okay.

Jennifer’s place was great. It was well stocked and clean. The views were beautiful. Jennifer was super responsive. The walkway to the beach is a little precarious but it was nice to have the option of a beach next door. The pool area was nice and the neighbors were friendly. The ac in the top master floor wasn’t as strong as we would have liked, and we couldn’t turn it down to a more comfortable temperature.

Perfect place!

The balcony is seriously everything! The sounds of the ocean, pelicans, and sunsets are amazing! Location is about 5-10 min drive to downtown. Close enough to the action, yet far enough away for it to be peaceful. Be warned if you’re a light sleeper the neighborhood roosters are out of control! They definitely woke me bright and early. Also, be sure to pack all your own toiletries as the apartment only provides bar soap. They do however have lots of kitchen staples(perhaps from previous guests) spices,oils,etc. Overall it was a lovely stay.

We loved our stay in Rincon and Jennifer’s place was just as described. It is in a great area. After trying numerous beaches in the area we decided we liked the little one next door best. The sunset balcony views were fabulous. We had one glitch while checking in but Jennifer was available and helped us out promptly. There was plenty of space in the condo for two couples. You could almost live separately. Rincon is a great area. We spent a couple of days in San Juan and mostly just wanted to return back to Rincón. We would definitely recommend to anyone headed to Puerto Rico.

What a beautiful place! A little piece of heaven that I will never forget. The condo was amazing and so beautiful. Very clean and in pristine condition. The amenities were amazing. The terrace was fantastic and the beach access was lovely! Jennifer was so wonderful and very responsive throughout the whole trip. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Very private and serene location; yet very easy to get to and close to restaurants, shops and other amenities. Apartment looked just like the photos, and was very clean and tastefully decorated. Outdoor spaces were a definite bonus! Jennifer was very helpful and responsive. I definitely recommend it if looking for a place to stay in Rincón!

Great penthouse - The outdoor patio was amazing and the view is stunning. Very well equipped with all you might need for cooking. We had several meals that we cooked on the gas grill. The beds were comfortable. The Apartment building has its own pool and access to a lovely small beach. Restaurants weren’t that close. So a car is needed for eating out and to get to the supermarket etc. We had a fabulous stay and recommend it as a great base for your Puerto Rico vacation.

Beautifull view of the sunset!!

Loved staying here. The patio is everything. We ate all meals outside, read our books and watched the sun set all from the amazing patio. Beds were comfortable. Great place.

The views are unbelievable! Not a single raindrop and 85 all week. The beach was amazing! All of the beach accessories were available in the closet and super clean beautiful home. An extra bonus.... the BBQ was well used and the beds were so comfortable. I can not wait to come back!!!

Jennifer’s apartment/condo is a beautiful peaceful, private place. It has an astonishing beautiful views and it’s extremely comfortable. Easy access to the pool and beach! The condo is super clean and well maintained! I will strongly suggest staying there and you will not be disappointed!! The only disappointment was leaving ! I will stay there again in the near future!!

Beautiful duplex appartment with amazing views of the ocean and sunset. Really spacious, plenty of room for kids on one floor and parents upstairs. Balconies are great for sunning, sharing meals and watching the view. We enjoyed cooking on the gas grill on the upstairs terrace. Pool area is nice and the beach next door is wonderful. Great snorkelling on the reef a short swim from the shore. We'd love to come again.

I can genuinely say I’ve never had a better experience with an AirBNB. This unit blew our minds, was perfect in every way, and was absolutely stunning. We were already planning our return trip when we were getting ready to leave! Jennifer was wonderful, the unit was incredible, the views are spectacular. 10 out 10 stars!

Great being right on the beach and close enough to all that the town has to offer

This place was exactly what we wanted and much, much more. We originally wanted the two bedroom because my daughter and her husband were going to join us but they had to cancel. It still worked out wonderfully for us having both patios and both floors to live in. Every night was sunsets over the gorgeous sea and peaceful sleeping listening to the waves. The beach, though small, was so private it was like our own beach. The town of Rincon was a lively, funky town with great restaurants and lovely people and great music. Don't miss the Thursday Art Fair. Once again, Pelican Reef Penthouse Condo was the perfect place to spend time in the Paradise that is the western coast of Puerto Rico.

Great place and location, especially if you want to be on the beach. Also, there's a lot of decent-quality kitchen gear, which is a nice change from most AirBnBs.

This 2 floor Penthouse was beautiful clean and let's talk about the views!! Wow breathtaking. I Look forward to returning someday.

The Airbnb was beautiful the view was incredible I would say the only Takeaway was the pool was not in commission and I wasn’t told that it wasn’t available so that was a bummer if I was told that the pool wasn’t set up yet I probably would’ve booked somewhere else just because the pool is what I wanted
